We’re looking for a Labourer (Summer Student) to work with us in the Muskoka and Parry Sound region.

What you’ll do

Support our field staff with general labour tasks like lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. In this role, you could gain a broad range of experience as you may be called to support any of our division staff (electrical, HVAC, generators or audio video).

Requirements

• Proficient in English (both verbal and written).
• Demonstrate the ability to work safely.
• Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Has a positive attitude towards learning new ideas/skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and mathematical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism on a work site.
• Must meet the minimum physical requirements to perform the essential duties of the job.

Experience and qualifications

• Hold a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Any related work experience/training in an electrical, HVAC or home automation environment is an asset.
