We’re looking for a full-time HVAC/Sheet Metal Installer to work with us in the Muskoka and Parry Sound region.
What you’ll do
- Operate light metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, and punches.
- Submit drawings of duct fittings to suppliers for projects and estimating.
- Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
- Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Be lead hand on installation and have knowledge of all HVAC being installed.
- May prepare work estimates for clients.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail. Able to efficiently make decisions related to your job and responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with colleagues, suppliers and customers. Proactive in maintaining professional relationships that reflect the company’s core values.
- Effective communication, training, and leadership skills. Able to manage and oversee those under your authority while also demonstrating a personal continuous learning attitude.
- Willing to travel to site appointments and work flexible hours.
- Demonstrate high integrity and moral values.
Experience and qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience in the field or a Certificate of Qualifications or Red Seal
- Minimum of G3 Gas License.
- Hold a valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
